Particles of substances such as those listed are not very susceptible to magnetic attraction; to attract them and extract them, it is necessary to subject them to high induction and gradient magnetic fields.
The Tumaroll magnetic roller is one or more stages arranged in cascade; each stage contains a magnetic roller, a belt and an idler roller.
The magnetic roller is made up of rare earth magnets arranged to achieve a very high magnetic flux density that involves the entire active length of the roller.
When the process material previously separated from the sand passes near the magnetic roller, the magnetic particles are attracted and separated. The inert material continues and falls onto the belt of the next stage or, at the end of the cycle, into the discharge hopper.
The recovered magnetic particles are discharged in the return stroke, when the tape separates from the magnetic roller.
In order for the separation quality to be optimal, it is advisable that the material is distributed on the belt evenly and in a single layer.
