For dusty and fire hazardous environments, Gauss Magneti designs and manufactures the ATEX 20, 21 and 22 versions with the relevant certification.
Our overbelt separators consist of an extractor belt running around a magnet which attracts the ferrous material that’s then conveyed to an unloading area.
Once separators are installed at height or on the ground, transversal or longitudinal to the flow of materials, it will be possible to adjust their inclination and the distance between the magnet and the belt.
Our machines meet the specific needs of the user by being customizable in terms of size and magnetic force.

Electromagnetic overbelt separators – SEN
In this technology, the magnetic field is generated by (aluminum or copper) wound on a steel core with low carbon content and high magnetic permeability.
ADVANTAGES

The magnetic field can be activated and deactivatedremotely.

The magnetic field is characterized by its great depth.

Permanent overbelt magnetic separators – SM
The separators equipped with this technology are available with electric or hydraulic motorization and can be installed on belts between 500mm and 2,200mm wide.
This separators can be equipped with two kinds of permanent magnets:
+ Ferrite: widely used and resistant to high temperatures (up to 300 °), this magnet generates a deep field.
+ Rare earths (Neodymium alloy, iron and boron): the high magnetic induction and the very high coercive force make this magnet suitable for separating small-sized materials or materials embedded in the inert material (such as wired glass or slightly magnetic steel).
ADVANTAGES

It significantly reduces consumption and allows savings as it does not require energy.
